I am an avid reader who frequently re-reads L.M.Montgomery, C.S. Lewis, Ivo Andric, Lev Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Anton Pavlovich Chekhov.    I try to stay focused on Jesus.  I have a guitar-playing husband who works from home.  I have lived in Serbia, Austria, Japan and Scotland, but have been in the Mid-West now ten years.

We have all boys.  One has a unique Aspie perspective, one is a vexillologist, one is quite skilled at drawing, one loves singing and re-telling Bible stories wherever he goes.  One may know everything there is to know about the blue-ringed octopus and Genghis Khan.  One son has an astounding knowledge of baseball history and statistics, and one is very much enamored with all things to do with cowboys.  In reality, we are only raising three boys.  Most days it just seems there are more.

I am deeply proud of my family and would not dare change a thing about them, even if I could.
